There are some sessions that feel like pure magic - and this mermaid session at Murrell Park in Grapevine was exactly that.

The evening unfolded with one of the most breathtaking sunsets over Grapevine Lake, painting the sky in vibrant colors before slipping into the cool, dreamy hues of blue hour.

Many overlook blue hour, but at the lake it’s one of the best times to shoot. The soft light reflects across the water, creating an ethereal glow that feels straight out of a fairytale. And when you add in a real-life mermaid? The results are unforgettable.

Our model for the evening, Kelli from Mermaid Luna Lagoon, brought the full mermaid magic to life. With her shimmering tail and natural grace in the water, she made every shot feel like a glimpse into another world. From playful splashes to serene moments against the glowing horizon, this session was a dream come true to capture.
